💬 Our Mission

We donate a portion of every completed job to Angel Warriors, helping Veterans with PTSD get matched with loyal service dog companions. When you book with us, you’re not just getting a clean home — you’re giving hope and healing to a hero.

💬 Quote Validity

Service quotes are valid for eight (8) calendar days from the date issued.

💳 Deposit & Payment
  • A non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total service cost is required at time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service.
  • Same-day bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
  • For jobs over $250, a 50% progress payment may be collected while cleaners are on-site. The remaining balance is due at the final walkthrough.
  • If payment is not received by 8:00 PM local time on the day of service, we reserve the right to charge the card on file.
  • Late balances may incur a 2% daily fee or the maximum allowed by law.

🔁 Rescheduling & Cancellation
  • Reschedule free of $25 will be collected with less than 24 hours’ notice.
  • Same-day reschedule: $25 fee, payable before the new appointment is confirmed.
  • Same-day cancellation: $75 fee. The 20% deposit can be put toward this charge.
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable in all cancellation scenarios.
  • We encourage rescheduling rather than cancelling to avoid the loss of deposit. 

Undisclosed Conditions
Deposits remain non-refundable if undisclosed conditions exist, including but not limited to:
  • Hoarding or excessive clutter, Heavy or extreme soiling, Biohazards or bodily fluids, Pest infestations, or Unsafe or hazardous environments.
The Maid of The Day reserves the right to decline, stop, or modify service under such conditions

💲 Pricing Adjustments
Pricing is based on customer-provided information and may be adjusted if:
  • Additional rooms/square footage are discovered
  • Property condition materially differs
  • Excess buildup, pet hair, smoke residue, or neglect is present
Client agrees to pay the adjusted total prior to proceeding with the service.

🚫 Service Scope & Limitations
Unless specifically quoted, excluded services include:
  • Wall/baseboard stain removal, Junk removal or haul-away, Biohazard cleanup, Mold, pest, or grout remediation, Interior appliance disassembly, Garage/porch cleaning, Moving appliances or heavy furniture, or Guaranteed stain removal

📸 Photo & Walkthrough Policy

Deposit payment grants permission for before-and-after photos of the property for quality control, internal training, and dispute documentation
Customer approval, walkthrough (or refusal of walkthrough), or lack of reported issue within the notice window of 24 hours constitutes service acceptance and completion. No refunds or re-cleans will be issued after the final approval.

🧽 Right-to-Cure

Client agrees that re-cleaning is the sole and exclusive remedy for any alleged service deficiency. The Maid of The Day must be given a reasonable opportunity to return and correct any claimed deficiency before any refund, chargeback, or third-party service is pursued. Failure to allow re-cleaning waives the claim to the fullest extent permitted by law.

🧽 Damage Claims
Any claim of property damage allegedly related to services must be:
  • Reported within 24 hours of service completion and supported by clear photographic evidence.
Failure to provide timely notice limits investigation and may result in denial.
 
The Maid of The Day is not responsible for:
  • Damage reported after the notice window, Normal wear and tear, Pre-existing damage, Manufacturer defects, Improper prior treatments, Fragile or deteriorated materials, Items not disclosed as delicate

🧽 Pre-Existing Conditions
Client is responsible for identifying fragile, valuable, or specialty items prior to service. The Maid of The Day will not move fragile items to clean under them.
The Maid of The Day is not liable for damage resulting from:
  • Pre-existing wear, Loose or unstable fixtures, Aged or improperly finished surfaces, Previously damaged leather, wood, or stone, Items unable to withstand standard cleaning methods

📝 Independent Contractor Relationship

The Maid of The Day operates as a referral and scheduling platform. Cleaning services are performed by independent contractors who are not employees, agents, or representatives of The Maid of The Day. Each contractor retains control over the manner and method of performing services and is responsible for their own acts and omissions.


Client Acknowledgment
To the fullest extent permitted by law, client acknowledges that the servicing contractor is primarily responsible for the performance of cleaning services and agrees that any claims arising from the contractor’s work should also be directed to the servicing contractor.


Hold Harmless
Except to the extent caused by The Maid of The Day’s own gross negligence or willful misconduct, client agrees to hold harmless and release The Maid of The Day from claims arising out of the independent contractor’s cleaning performance, subject to applicable law.

📝 Non-Solicitation of Contractors

Client agrees not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any contractor introduced through The Maid of The Day for a period of 12 months following the last service date. Violation results in a $2,500 referral fee, agreed as reasonable liquidated damages and not a penalty.

📝 Chargeback & Payment Disputes
Client agrees not to initiate chargebacks without first providing written notice and allowing The Maid of The Day an opportunity to cure.
Improper chargebacks may result in:
  • Collections activity, Recovery of fees, Administrative costs, Reasonable attorney’s fees where permitted

📝 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • Total liability is capped at the amount paid for the specific service visit.
  • The Maid of The Day is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • The Maid of The Day is not responsible for replacement of matching sets, sentimental items, or speculative losses.

📝 Dispute Resolution & Venue

Step 1 — Informal Resolution Required
Client agrees to contact The Maid of The Day and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, resolve the matter during a period of 10 business days before filing any claim.


Step 2 — Venue
Any permitted legal action shall be brought in the county where the service was performed, unless otherwise required by law.

📝 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the service occurs. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force.

📝 Agreement Confirmation

By submitting a deposit or payment, the client confirm Acknowledgment, Acceptance, Electronic signature agreement, and Consent to all Terms and Conditions outline herein.
